“Freeman and I met on July 17, 2012, and I started my membership later that evening after taking my boys to the gym with me. I felt immediately at home with both Freeman and the rustic smell of the boxing gym — filled with everything I would need to help me mount my fight against diabetes.

Despite his role as mentor and lead trainer, Freeman gave me his full attention when listening to my goals and objectives. After speaking with him and experiencing the ‘feel’ of the gym, I knew I had to join.”

Transformation stories

Boxing changes more than your body — it changes how you carry yourself through everything else.

Fighting back against diabetes

One member walked in after a doctor’s warning: train harder, or stay on medication. Coach Freeman — drawing on his own family’s experience with diabetes — listened first, then built a plan around the heavy bag, conditioning, and consistency.

The result wasn’t just weight lost. It was a fight reclaimed.

Confidence in the next generation

Parents tell us the same thing: their kids walk taller after a few months in the youth program. Boxing fundamentals come with discipline, accountability, and a coach who expects their best — in the ring and in the classroom.
