Becoming a Rock Steady Boxing Certified Location
Keep Swinging Boxing & Fitness is pursuing certification as a Rock Steady Boxing affiliate — a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum designed to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease. The Rock Steady method is recognized by the Parkinson’s Foundation as an Accredited Exercise Education Program.
Why Rock Steady, why here
Rock Steady classes are designed to boost confidence, reduce the fear of falling, improve daily functioning, and educate clients on safe physical activity. Participants often report improved motor skills, balance, posture, gait, strength, and a powerful sense of community.
Becoming an affiliate puts our coaches inside a worldwide network of Rock Steady professionals, with shared training resources, continuing education, and the trusted Rock Steady brand standing behind every class we run.
Head Coach prerequisites
The person undergoing the Head Coach Training must hold one of the following credentials:
- A medical professional license
- A fitness certification
- A degree in an exercise-related field

Our affiliation roadmap
- Submit a New Affiliate application to Rock Steady Boxing to start the process of becoming an RSB Affiliate.
- Sign the RSB Agreement to formalize our commitment to the program standards.
- Pay the affiliate & training fees — including the annual affiliate fee and Head Coach Training & Camp.
- Complete Head Coach certification — approximately 11 hours of online coursework plus a two-day in-person skills camp.
- Begin offering Rock Steady classes in Jackson — backed by ongoing Rock Steady support and an international network of professionals.
